FairSend
FairSend is a fintech comparison platform tackling one of the most overlooked forms of financial inequity — the billions of dollars lost annually by immigrant and migrant workers to hidden fees and unfavorable exchange rates when sending money home to their families. FairSend aggregates real-time fee and exchange rate data across major remittance providers for any send corridor, surfaces the cheapest and fastest option instantly, and alerts users when rates are optimal for their specific corridor. Users never touch a worse deal again without knowing a better one exists. We are building toward the UN SDG 10.c target of reducing global remittance costs below 3% putting more of every dollar sent directly into the hands of the families it was meant for. Looking for: A co-founder with business development, marketing, or UX/UI experience and ideally someone with lived experience navigating the remittance system firsthand.
