Mirela Pirlea

Mirela has more than 25 years experience in the banking industry, with extended experience in the payments industry. She is a fintech expert, interested in building relationships between the big corporations and the startups. Part of the organizing team of the Cooperathon, the largest Open Innovation competition in Canada, Mirela is leading the Pan-Canadian development of Cooperathon, the Mentorship program and the Educatif curriculum for the Ontario-Atlantic-West Canada regions (OAW). A connector at heart, Mirela is actively building relationships between different actors in the startups ecosystem working together to achieve a better Canadian ecosystem with a global mindset.
